Meet Steven M. Murata, D.M.D., M.S. Dr. Steven Murata was born in Nyssa, Oregon and graduated from Ontario High School.An Experienced Endodontics Specialist In 1991, Dr. Murata retired from the United States Air Force as a Colonel. Dr. Murata served as an Endodontic Examiner for the Oregon Board of Dentistry from 1994-2002. Endodontics Training He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Oregon State University. After five years of practice in retail and hospital pharmacy, he returned to school and graduated from Oregon Health and Sciences University with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Following dental school, Dr. Murata completed a general practice residency program at Eglin Air Force Base, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. After a year of practice, he entered an endodontic residency program and received a certificate of endodontic specialty and a Master of Science Degree from the University of Texas at Houston Dental Branch and Wilford Hall United States Air Force Medical Center in 1982. Certifications & Associations He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Marion-Polk Dental Society, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and he has been a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics since 1990. Dr. Murata lives in Salem with his wife, Dorothy. |
